We're always looking for passionate creatives to help lead our chapter. Board positions are volunteer roles with a one-year term, and a great way to grow your network, build leadership skills, and give back to Rochester's advertising community.

Awards Show Co-Chair
Events

Helps produce the American Advertising Awards Show, AAFGR's signature celebration of creative excellence in Rochester. Partners with awards leaders on planning, judging, entries, venue logistics, ticketing, sponsors, vendors, and show promotion.

Social Media Chair
Communications

Manages AAFGR's social presence by creating, scheduling, and posting content that promotes events, celebrates members, and keeps the community engaged online. Maintains the social calendar, supports event coverage, and keeps the chapter's voice consistent across channels.

PR Chair
Communications

Leads public relations for AAFGR by helping tell the chapter's story, promote events, and build awareness across Rochester's creative and business communities. Coordinates press outreach, editorial planning, newsletters, and timely updates with the communications team.

Secretary
Executive

Keeps AAFGR organized by managing board meeting logistics, agendas, minutes, and key records. Works with the president and board to track decisions, follow-ups, annual reporting, and internal communication throughout the year.

Membership Chair
Membership

Leads AAFGR's member experience by helping attract, welcome, retain, and engage professionals across Rochester's advertising, marketing, design, and communications community. Maintains membership records, supports outreach, and helps strengthen member benefits and renewals.

Finance Chair
Finance

Supports AAFGR's financial health by helping manage budgets, payments, reporting, and nonprofit finance operations. Works with the executive team, event chairs, and awards leaders to keep chapter programs financially sound and sustainable year over year.

Web Chair
Communications

Maintains the AAFGR website and related digital touchpoints, keeping content current and ensuring a smooth experience for members, visitors, and awards participants. Supports event pages, awards updates, email content, newsletters, and Mailchimp list management.
